UAE s draft federal budget for 2022-2026 reviewed
ABU DHABI, 4 days ago UAE s General Budget Committee has directed the Ministry of Finance to complete all measures needed for planning the draft five-year budget as per the approved strategic objectives in line with the next 50-year vision. Discussing the draft federal budget for 2022-2026, the committee also considered the fiscal policies governing financing of capital projects in the federal government. It directed to execute all necessary measures needed in this respect, a WAM report said. The committee was chaired by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation virtually attended the committee s meeting, which was held today at Qasr Al Watan Palace.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has been briefed on the milestones achieved by the Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB), since its establishment in 2012, and its future plans and programmes as well as its new strategic objectives.
This came as H.H. Sheikh Mansour met with the board members of the AECB at Qasr Al Watan today where he valued the achievements made by the AECB and directed to continue the development of its products in a way that streamlines provision of credit facilities.

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sunday chaired the regular meeting of the General Budget Committee.
The meeting was attended remotely by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The committee discussed the draft general budget 2022-2026, in addition to the measures carried out by the Ministry of Finance to prepare the draft general budget for 2022, as per federal law No. 26 of 2019 on public finances and related decisions.
The meeting touched on the federal government’s cash flows expected in 2022 based on federal bodies’ estimates of revenues, using the latest technology and the system of automation of forecasts of future revenues.
