President George Weah’s warning to his cabinet ministers that those who fail to strictly execute his agenda will be fired, has left the public wondering just what is his agenda which cabinet ministers must strictly execute or risk dismissal?
This is because it appears to the public that President Weah, has on numerous occasions before threatened dismissals for those officials who have failed to perform yet, to date no dismissal has been effected.
Although there were wild public speculations about an imminent changing of the guards. Such change the public speculated would have seen the dismissal of two key officials.
Abu Dhabi: Five women child protection specialists were sworn in before Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), as part of the legal requirements to begin performing their child protection duties in accordance with Federal Child Protection Law No 3 of 2016 (commonly known as Wadeema Law) and the executive regulations thereof.
During a discussion with the specialists at the end of the swearing-in ceremony, Al Abri congratulated the five female specialists, wishing them success in carrying out their work, stressing the importance of the role assigned to them under the Wadeema Law in terms of preventive intervention in cases where the health or safety of a child is threatened, and therapeutic intervention in cases of child abuse, exploitation and neglect in violation of the provisions of the law.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), is expected to conduct a two-day stakeholders’ Workshop on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in Monrovia from February 9-10, 2021.
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was established in January 2012, in Addis Abba, Ethiopia, and entered into force on January 1, 2021, with a focus on creating a single African market for goods and services.
The idea is also aimed at facilitating the free movement of persons and capital to deepen economic integration and accelerate the establishment of a single continental customs union.

On instructions from President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a Turkmen delegation led by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to the United Arab Emirates on February 2-4, 2021.
A series of constructive meetings were held with the leaders of the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
On February 2, the Deputy Foreign Minister met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest with the objective of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries.

The parties to the revitalized peace agreement have agreed in a meeting to complete the formation of government at all levels within a week, a senior official said in a statement Tuesday.
“After extensive deliberations that lasted for three hours on a broad range of critical and pertinent pending issues revolving around the implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS). The meeting resolved as follows; One, that completion of the process of formation of state government be expedited by finalizing the list of nominations and each one of the requisite presidential decrees effecting the appointment of the following in the course of one week,” partly read the statement bearing the name of Nhial Deng Nhial, the minister of presidential affairs.
