Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will send an SMS to individuals stating that they will be required to visit their health centers to receive their second COVID-19 dose.
This is due to the overwhelming response received at the COVID-19 drive-through vaccination centers in Qatar.
The SMS highlighted that individuals would receive a follow-up SMS regarding the confirmation of their second dose and that they will be required to visit the Health Center they provided their first COVID-19 dose.
It also pointed out that you will be required to show the green status on the Ehteraz app, in addition to the vaccination card and QID.

Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has sent SMS to some people stating that due to the overwhelming response for the drive-through services, the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered at their health center.
The SMS said that people will receive a follow up SMS confirming their second dose appointment at the Health Center where they received the first dose.
“Upon arrival you will be requested to show your Green Ehteraz, Vaccination Card and QID. Please ensure you follow all precautionary measures; you are requested to keep your mask on at all times.” it added.
Hamad Medical Corporation Tobacco Control Center, a World Health Organization Collaborating Center, had recently conducted a cross-sectional study to identify the prevalence of tobacco use among adults in Qatar.
Titled ‘Epidemiology of tobacco use in Qatar: Prevalence and its associated factors’, the study identified the prevalence of tobacco use among adults in Qatar to be 25.2 percent.
The study utilized the same methodology as a study undertaken in 2000 that reported a higher prevalence of tobacco smoking of 36.5 percent in Qatar.

Doha: The Hamad Medical Corporation Tobacco Control Center, a World Health Organization Collaborating Center (HMC TCC-WHOCC) recently conducted a cross-sectional study entitled ‘Epidemiology of tobacco use in Qatar: Prevalence and its associated factors’ which found the prevalence of tobacco use among adults in Qatar to be 25.2 percent.
The study utilised the same methodology as a study undertaken in 2000 that reported a higher prevalence of tobacco smoking of 36.5 percent in Qatar.
The recent Tobacco Control Center study included a mixed nationality sample of 7,921 governmental and semi-governmental employees and university students in Qatar; 58.4% males and 41.6% females.
