13:16 | Lima, Jan. 30. Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez on Saturday announced that the list of families who will receive government grants across the regions declared under extreme-alert lockdown will be published next week.
Days ago, the Executive Branch established the delivery of grants each worth S/600 (US$164) to 4.2 million vulnerable households for them to face the second coronavirus wave.
In this sense, the high-ranking official explained that coordinations with the Bank of Nation and the Peruvian Association of Banks (Asbanc) are currently ongoing, so that private banks also support the payments.
