Rupani to inaugurate slew of projects during Surat visit | Surat News

Surat: Chief minister Vijay Rupani will inaugurate a slew of projects during his one-day visit to the Diamond City on Sunday. Apart from dedicating the Pal-Umra bridge to the public, the CM will also inaugurate other projects including housing schemes built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY). The CM will inaugurate different projects developed at a combined cost of Rs 1,073 crore during his visit. The inauguration of the Pal-Umra bridge will be held at the site while all other functions are slated to be held at Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium in Adajan. It is the first major function of the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) being held after the elections of the local body.
