Kishori Pednekar on Thursday said that the
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will try to administer both the doses of COVID-19 vaccines to students travelling abroad for higher studies by August itself.
A special vaccination drive for students who have secured admission in foreign universities began at several centres in the city this week. However, a number of students raised concerns over the gap between the two jabs.
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi too urged the
Maharashtra government to reduce the gap between two doses for such students, so that they can reach their universities fully vaccinated by the time their term begins.
