Mumbai Police have sent for forensic analysis the car and gelatin sticks found in it near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence here last month, officials said on Sunday.

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) will register a murder case against unidentified persons in the death of Mansukh Hiren (48), owner of the SUV found abandoned near industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence.
Hiren s was found by police in the Reti Bunder creek near Mumbra last week.
The murder will be registered on the complaint of Viamala, Hiren’s wife. The accidental death case, registered by the Mumbra police station after Hiren’s body was found, has been taken over by the ATS and is being converted into a murder case, said a source.
A source from the state ATS told TOI that as per the order of the home department, the investigation of the sudden death of Hiren has been handed over to the ATS. Accordingly, the ATS has taken all the investigation documents from the Mumbra Police Station and started further investigation.
