New Delhi: The Intelligence Bureau has told the Delhi High Court that it has not prepared or submitted any report on the 2006 Mumbai train blasts to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). In the submission, the IB has filed an affidavit in compliance with the court’s instruction in January this year, stating that it had not prepared any report of the bombings in 2009 or shortly thereafter on 11 July 2006, when seven RDBs Bombs were detonated. In Mumbai, 189 people were killed and 829 were injured through several Western line local trains.

File picture: Manuskh Hiran  |  Photo Credit: IANS Mumbai: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is likely to take over the investigation into the death of Thane-based businessman Mansukh Hiran, whose dead body was found in a creek near Mumbra town on March 5, a report said on Wednesday. The Agency had on March 3 started a probe into the case related to the finding of an explosive-laden SUV outside the residence of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani s house Antilia in south Mumbai. Twenty gelatin sticks and a threat note were found in the Mahindra Scorpio on February 25.
