Attempted Armed Robber Jumped When Victims Notice His Gun Is A Toy

Dec 24, 2020 A phony armed robber is under arrest after his intended victims turned the tables on him. The suspect reportedly robbed a man in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Cinnamon Creek Drive early Tuesday morning. He then hopped a fence and tried to commit a home invasion robbery at the Spice Creek Apartments next door. But his victims noticed the gun he was using was a toy. They banged him over the head with a frying pan and held him until the police arrived. His name hasn t been released.
