Autistic Marathon County Man Reported Missing By Mike Leischner Apr 1, 2021 10:53 AM WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Sheriff’s officials in Marathon County are asking for the public’s help to locate 29-year-old Jayme Dietz. Dietz, who is autistic, was reported missing from his home in Hatley Wednesday afternoon. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, red and black tennis shoes, and a gray jacket. He was carrying a green duffel bag and blue backpack. Dietz often goes by the name Tyler. Officers say he is not carrying a cell phone. There was a possible sighting of him near Little Wolf Road in the Town of Franzen, located between Bevent and Galloway.

Marathon Co. Humane Society looking for missing dog By Liz Holbrook Mar 10, 2021 2:36 PM WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) The search is on for a dog who went missing after getting spayed. The Marathon County Humane Society is looking for a female black lab named Tux. Tux got loose on Tuesday morning after getting spayed at Paw Health Network in Kronenwetter.  Tux is part of a group of dogs that were surrendered to the shelter from Bevent in December of 2020 with little to no human contact. Tux is wearing a blue inflatable recovery collar and is wearing a slip leash. She was most recently seen Wednesday morning around 7:45 a.m. on W Nelson Road near Happy Hollow.
