Author: The medical examiner on Wednesday identified the man as 38-year-old Sedric Lee Dorman of Minneapolis.  According to the release, Dorman died of multiple sharp force injuries at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 3 at 4901 S Minnehaha Drive in Minnehaha Park.  The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide, noting the Minneapolis Police Department is handling the investigation.  Last week, Minneapolis police said they were called to the encampment on Sunday, Jan. 3, to check on the welfare of a man inside one of the tents. They found the man s body inside a tent, which had experienced obvious trauma.
