The Carver County Sheriff s Office received a 911 call at 3:39 p.m. that a girl was missing at Lake Minnewashta and that her family was trying to find her. She was last seen on a float attached to a couple of boats that were anchored together on the lake near the 3600 block of Red Cedar Point Road in Chanhassen, according the Sheriff s Office.

Benjamin Garcia, 26, died after swimming at Commons Beach on Lake Minnetonka Thursday evening.
