MSM index ends lower By: ONA Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 4.8 points, comprising a decline by 0.13 per cent to close at 3,738.01 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,742.78 points. The trading value stood at OMR1,262,846, comprising a drop of 43.7 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR2,243,959. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.117 per cent to reach about OMR20.54 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR446,000, comprising 35.34 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR135,000, comprising 10.67 per cent. The net non-Omani investment increased by 24.67 per cent to OMR312,000.
