High school formal crash driver to plead not guilty

Premium Content Subscriber only A driver who police allege was driving dangerously when he crashed on the way to a high school formal has told a court he will plead not guilty. Glenview man Wisam El Haouli was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle after the November 18 crash at Moffat Beach. The car crashed into Moffat Beach Brewing Co and two customers, a man in his 50s and his wife, were taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment. The driver charged over a formal car crash in Moffat Beach intends to plead not guilty. The two passengers, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, were not physically injured in the crash.
