Restaurants in Mass Are Struggling With 25% Capacity Restriction
This week, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker put more restrictions on Massachusetts restaurants by reducing indoor capacity to 25%.
According to a report from WCVB, restaurants owners in Cambridge, MA have had to pivot for a year. Eateries that used to have over 30 employees are now down to single digits. The places that are doing take-out are becoming more and more like retail when everyone is ordering at the exact same time, making it difficult to maintain on a regular basis. PROVIDENCE â Rhode Island has allocated every dime of the $1.25 billion in COVID-19 relief funds it received from the federal government, Governor Gina M. Raimondo said during her weekly coronavirus news conference Tuesday. But thereâs still one simple thing everyone can do thatâs free and could save lives: Get tested.
