ARLINGTON, MA Arlington reported 197 coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it to over 800 confirmed cases, according to town-by-town data released by the state. But the town stayed in the moderate-risk category, averaging 30.7 daily cases per 100,000 residents, with a test rate of 3.01 percent.
That s up from 25.09 average daily cases and a test rate of 2.89 percent last week. There have been 809 cases in Arlington since March.
More than half of Massachusetts cities and towns were designated high risk by the Massachusetts Department of Health Thursday. Positive test rates rose in 275 communities.

READING, MA Reading reported 185 coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it to over 700 confirmed cases, according to town-by-town data released by the state. The town fell into the high-risk category, averaging 47.7 daily cases per 100,000 residents, with a test rate of 5.21 percent.
That s up from 30.97 average daily cases and a test rate of 4.05 percent last week. There have been 770 cases in Reading since March.

MEDFORD, MA Medford reported 571 coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it to over 2,400 confirmed cases, according to town-by-town data released by the state. But the city stayed in the moderate-risk category, averaging 67.1 daily cases per 100,000 residents, with a test rate of 2.73 percent.
That s up from 49.73 average daily cases and a test rate of 2.23 percent last week. There have been 2,480 cases in Medford since March.

STONEHAM, MA Stoneham reported 217 coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it to over 900 confirmed cases, according to town-by-town data released by the state. The town remained in the high-risk category, averaging 69.6 daily cases per 100,000 residents, with a test rate of 6 percent.
That s up from 53.26 average daily cases and a test rate of 5.97 percent last week. There have been 977 cases in Stoneham since March.
