NBCC (India) has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 5 March 2021 with National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna for supervision of construction and development of institute campus, hostel and residential buildings, at NIT Patna.
NBCC is the project management consultant (PMC) for this project of value Rs 468 crore. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 10 March 2021.
Separately, NBCC (India) on Thursday, 11 March 2021, announced that it has awarded two separate work orders to Backbone Construction-Sangeeta Engineering & Contracts (JV) and Hayagrev Civil Engineering.
The Backbone Construction-Sangeeta Engineering & Contracts JV has been awarded an order for construction of cooling tower (NDCT) CT-1 for Yadadri Thermal Power Station, (5x800 MW), TSGENCO in Telangana for a total contract value of Rs 45.26 crore.
The Delhi government is prepared to launch its flagship doorstep ration delivery scheme with a limited number of households in Seemapuri from March 25, government officials said on Thursday. The Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojna for doorstep delivery of rations will be launched by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on March 25, they added. The scheme will initially involve 100 households in Seemapuri, said a senior official. It will be expanded to cover all eligible households in Seemapuri and other areas from April 1, he said. In his Republic Day address, Kejriwal had said the initiative for doorstep delivery of rations would be a revolutionary step in changing the public distribution system.

A special CBI court here has framed charges against 33 accused, including four former officials of Vyapam, in connection with the rigging of a 2012 Madhya Pradesh police recruitment test. Earlier this week, CBI judge S B Sahu framed charges against 33 accused, including 17 candidates and 12 middlemen, under relevant provisions of the IPC, Prevention of Corruption Act, IT Act and MP Recognised Admissions Act, CBI special public prosecutor Satish Dinkar said on Thursday. The accused have been charged with cheating, forging documents, conspiracy and manipulating computer data, he said. The accused, including Vyapam s (Vyavsayik Pariskha Mandal) former exams controller Pankaj Trivedi, former principal analyst Nitin Mohindra and two other former officials Ajay Sen and Chandra Kant Mishra have pleaded not guilty on Monday.
