Adani Wind Energy Kutch Three (AWEKTL), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, commissioned a 100 MW Wind Power Plant in Kutch (Gujarat) 5 months ahead of its schedule. This is the 5th project commissioned before schedule by the company over the past 12 months.
The plant has Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at Rs. 2.82/kwh.
With the successful commissioning of this plant, the company has an operational wind generation capacity of 497 MW.
AGEL has total renewable capacity of 14,815 MW including 11,470 MW that have been awarded and are different stages of implementation. With this project the company has added total renewable capacity of 800 MW since the last 12 months the company has added despite the challenges of the COVID19 outbreak.
The domestic equity benchmarks firmed up once again in mid-afternoon trade. At 14:23 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 269.36 points or 0.53% to 50,674.68. The Nifty 50 index rose 89.55 points or 0.60% to 15,027.65.
The broader market was trading higher. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index advanced 0.48%. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index gained 1.03%.
Buyers outnumbered sellers. On the BSE, 1782 shares rose and 1258 shares fell. A total of 218 shares were unchanged.

In the commodities market, Brent crude for May 2021 settlement rose 49 cents to $69.85 a barrel. The contract gained 3.92% or $2.62 to settle at $69.36 a barrel in the previous session.
A 170-kilometre ring road will be built around Pune at an estimated cost of Rs 26,000 crore as a large number of passenger and goods transport from different parts of the state move through the city, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Monday while tabling the Budget for 2021-22 in the Assembly. Radico Khaitan announced that a fire broke out at the company s Rampur plant in Uttar Pradesh on 06 March 2021. A sudden n fire was noticed in two of the alcohol storage tanks with a combined capacity of Extra Neutral Alcohol of 350,000 bulk litres.
The Company s emergency response team along with the local fire brigades were able to bring the fire under control without any spread to other alcohol production, storage and bottling areas. Furthermore, there was no loss of life.
