Hamman: The Student Coaching the Student

By Dominique Hamman, Graduate Assistant, Grand Valley State University  @GVSUWLAX “Make it your business to draw out the best in others by being an exemplar yourself.” -Epicteus Many times, being in school while coaching at the college level means that there isn’t that big of an age gap between you and your players. Luckily, I had a job in my field already in Grand Rapids and was able to continue that path for a few years, though I did have to pick up a second job in retail as the one in radio was part time.
