Suspect in Moss Point New Year’s Eve murder captured in Florida

MOSS POINT, Miss. A man wanted for the New Year’s Eve shooting death of a 22-year-old Moss Point man has been captured in Florida, according to Moss Point police.
On Dec. 31, 2020, Javantavous Davison was found shot to death in the Kreole area of Moss Point. Police identified 21-year-old Nathan Ramon Dubose aka Lil’ Nate, Kreole Nate as the suspect.
Dubose is suspected of firing multiple rounds at a Honda Civic near Mill Avenue, not only killing Davison but injuring a passenger in the vehicle, as well. Dubose fled the area and in April was listed among Mississippi’s Most Wanted by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

CANTON, Miss. (WLBT) - A woman was found dead and covered in blood at a Canton hotel Friday.
Canton police were called to Econo Lodge on Soldiers Colony Road around 10:30 a.m.
Police say the cleaning crew found the woman, later identified as 37-year-old Takoria Brown, dead in a wheelchair inside her room.
Brown checked into the hotel along with another woman and two men the previous night.
