The Michigan health department has confirmed 4,867 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the state to 809,591 total cases since the start of the pandemic. Another 108 COVID-19 deaths were also reported Thursday, 75 of which were identified through the state health department s regular review of previous death certificates.
