ODESSA, Texas A whole new line of defense is here to fight COVID-19: children.
12-15 year olds are now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine and hospitals have been anticipating this approval. We are now actively working, both with the pediatric practices locally and especially with the schools to make vaccine available, Russell Meyers, Midland Memorial Hospital CEO said.

This time, at a very popular Midland spot, the farmer s market.
And while this transition to a new vaccine format is taking shape, the goal for these healthcare workers remains the same: Get a shot into an arm so we can get back to normal.

MIDLAND, Texas The mass vaccination hubs in Texas will soon be coming to an end. The picture is changing for us this week, Russell Meyers, Midland Memorial Hospital CEO said.
It s just another adjustments, like so many others we ve made this year. That operation has been a great success, but is coming to a close, Meyers said. If we get 200 first doses delivered in a day, that s a pretty good day now, when we were regularly doing over 1,000 at the beginning.
