a- When Cubans recently began protesting against the tropical Gulag’s Communist government, all eyes were on the Republican Party’s Cuban-American contingent. From Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (whom I have already exposed for her Open-Borders and PC chicanery) to Rep. Carlos Gimenez and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, they have beaten their chests about getting tough on Cuba, including military intervention [ , by Daniel Villareal, Newsweek, July 13, 2021 ]. And of course there were GOP calls for taking in more Cuban refugees. As a Venezuelan immigrant, the Cuban government is no object of my admiration. But it’s laughable to suggest that it poses an existential threat to the US compared to America’s mounting immigration disaster. The National Question remains king among issues that must preoccupy patriots. And these Cuban Conquistador-Americans are no help.
