MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - South Carolinaâs governor made a stop at the mass vaccination event held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Tuesday.
The city of Myrtle Beach and McLeod Health partnered up to put on the two-day event, where 5,000 people will receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster will hold a briefing Tuesday afternoon at the mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic happening in Myrtle Beach.
According to a press release from McLeod Health, the press conference will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the S.C. Hall of Fame at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, where McLeod Health’s vaccination event is being held.
McMaster will be joined by Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune, McLeod Health Seacoast administrator Monica Vehige, and Dr. Matthew Weeks, chief medical officer for McLeod Loris Seacoast.
