A house fire that killed a 10-year-old boy on the northwest side of Milwaukee Friday night was likely started by a candle, according to records from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner s Office.
The boy, identified as Justin Williams, was trapped in the house where he, his 14-year-old sister and his mother lived in the 11800 block of West Florist Avenue after it caught fire about 10 p.m. on Friday.
Firefighters found him unconscious in the one-story house s kitchen, near a locked back door, and tried but could not revive him, according to a deputy chief and to an investigation report obtained from the medical examiner s office.

MILWAUKEE - A convicted sex offender with an outstanding warrant is on the run. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force is now bringing the case to the public’s attention. They are searching for 58-year-old Printiss Deese. He is coming to and from Milwaukee, he may stay here for a brief period of time, explained the U.S. Marshal on the case. Mr. Deese is wanted currently by the Milwaukee County sheriff’s office for violation of his sex offender registry rules.
He's serving time in federal prison, convicted of adding papers and wire to meat at the Johnsonville sausage factory. Now, he's charged with setting fire to a Plymouth apartment building in 2017.
