An Instafamous personality has been fined RM1,500 for not wearing a face mask in a video he filmed with police and Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) officers
According to Bernama, Putrajaya district police chief ACP Mohd Fadzil Ali said the influencer breached standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the National Security Council (MKN) and had turned up at the Putrajaya district police headquarters to give his statement.
He said the video â involving the suspect, two Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers, and one ATM officer â was filmed in Bukit Rimau, Presint 3, Putrajaya.

LABUAN: Only 47.6 per cent of Labuan’s population of 103,000 have registered for Covid-19 vaccination, said Labuan Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) chairman Rithuan Ismail.
He said this was much lower compared to the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, which has achieved 99.4 per cent as of May 1.
Strategies were being drawn up to convince more people to sign up for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, he said.

“In this battle against the coronavirus, 80 per cent of Labuan folks must roll up their sleeves in the coming months to achieve herd immunity and stop the virus from spreading,” he told Bernama Tuesday.

Here are the guidelines provided by the authorities;
Takbir Hari Raya
Only Muslims living in Movement Control Order (MCO), Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) will be allowed to attend communal Hari Raya Aidilfitri ‘takbir’ sessions at mosques and suraus.
Worshipers however would need to abide by SOPs provided by their respective state religious authorities.
Takbir sessions are not allowed in Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) areas.
Home-to-home takbir sessions will not be allowed in all areas, nationwide.

IPOH: Perak police will beef up controls to prevent people from attempting inter-state travel especially to the East Coast states ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
State police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said stricter inspections were being enforced at all roadblocks (SJR) as it is believed that many are still adamant to cross state borders to return to their respective hometowns.
“The routes between Perak and Pahang, especially at Jalan Cameron Highlands here, is the main road they will be passing to travel back to Kelantan and Pahang, so checks will be intensified here,“ he told a media conference early this morning.

Kota Kinabalu: This year’s Pesta Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) in Sabah will be held entirely online starting Thursday, devoid of all revelries traditionally associated with the festival.

(pic) said the decision was made to prevent the emergence of new Covid-19 clusters, which would put to waste efforts taken to combat the pandemic so far.
“The Sabah Government has also decided that except for the launching of the Kaamatan month this Saturday which will be done symbolically at Hongkod Koisaan (KDCA), there will be no Harvest Festival to be celebrated at district level,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
