A woman kicked repeatedly and threatened with a knife and hockey stick when thugs ransacked her home said the intruders not only stole irreplaceable jewellery but her symbols of hope .
Police attended Sherdley Park Pic: Google Streetview POLICE were called to Sherdley Park where around 50 youths had gathered and vodka bottles were being thrown. Officers say bottles were tossed on to the pavement and one was hurled at a police car during the disturbance on Saturday evening (May 1). At around 7.40pm police received reports that around 50 young people had gathered inside the park and that a number of them were throwing vodka bottles on the pavement. As officers attended, a bottle was thrown at a police car before the youths left the area. No-one was hurt in the incident, police said.
TWO men from the Wirral are among 14 arrested following a joint Merseyside Police and North Wales investigation into County Lines drug dealing. The activity was part of ongoing Project Medusa, an operation led by Merseyside Police and set up to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation into Bangor and Anglesey. Two children and vulnerable adults were safeguarded as part of the operation. Officers from both forces were deployed to areas of North Wales as well as transport hubs, such as Lime Street Station in Merseyside to disrupt criminal activity and safeguard young and vulnerable people exploited by criminal gangs.
1/1 DETECTIVES have released two suspects on bail after a man was stabbed in the leg on Friday evening in what police described as an appalling attack . As reported by the Star, police sealed off an area of Lord Street - an estate located off College Street, St Helens. Officers had received a report at about 5pm that a man had been attacked at an address. Emergency services found a 45-year-old man with stab wounds to his leg. He was taken to hospital for his injuries, however, a police spokesperson confirmed he has since been released. A 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, both from St Helens, were arrested on suspicion on section 18 wounding, an offence also knowns as inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

Officers from Merseyside and North Wales Police joined forces to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.
A man swallowed a bag of what is thought to have been heroin as he fled officers who surprised him at a train station. The 23-year-old tried to escape after seeing police when he approached Green Lane station in Birkenhead.
He was caught and questioned on suspicion of obstructing an officer.
