COLUMBUS, Ohio –The Ohio State department of athletics has issued the following release.
E.J. Liddell, a sophomore forward on the Ohio State men’s basketball team, has been named 2021 First Team All-Big Ten by the league coaches, the conference office announced Tuesday. The league media selected Liddell to its second team.
Duane Washington Jr., a junior guard, was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team by both the coaches and media. Kyle Young, a senior forward, is a 2020-21 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.
Chris Holtmann, head coach of the Buckeyes, said the work Liddell and Washington Jr. have put in over time has led to the individual recognition.

Buckner not only produced for Oregon, but he did so on an unreal workload he played 1,894 snaps over his final two seasons for the Ducks. We’ve only seen eight 900-plus-snap seasons from an interior defender in our seven years of grading college football. Buckner has two of them.
25. IOL QUENTON NELSON, NOTRE DAME
This one is about positional value. It’s going to take
a lot for us to put a guard higher than Nelson and his 92.2 overall grade from 2017. He was about as clean as it gets on the offensive line, earning an 85.0-plus overall grade in each of his three years as a starter.

The 5’9”, 180 pound Boilermakers wideout caught 35 receptions for 270 receiving yards (7.7 ypr. avg.), as well as 6 carries for 32 rushing yards (5.3 ypr. avg.) and a rushing touchdown during 3 starts in 2020 having initially opted out to prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
This offseason, in many ways, is going to be very different for the Buccaneers. The free agency period will be especially unique, as the team doesn’t have many if any holes to fill on its roster. The main priority will be bringing back some key members of the 2020 Super Bowl champion squad, which will be enough of a challenge.
But after Tampa Bay does what it can to keep its own, any extra signings would likely be more for depth. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, as championship teams need depth. That was evident this year as guys like Leonard Fournette, Aaron Stinnie, Mike Edwards, Kevin Minter, and Steve McLendon had to step up at different points during the playoffs.
