TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued along the coast for parts of Franklin, SE Liberty, and SW Wakulla Counties. This storm can produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Grady, Mitchell, Thomas, Brooks, and Colquitt Counties until 12:15 p.m. This storm is capable of producing wind gusts of 60 mph along with heavy rainfall and frequent thunder and lightning.

Where: Miller, Mitchell, Colquitt and Baker County.
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Hazards: Damaging wind gusts, brief tornado, hail.
It won t take much for you to break a sweat Monday. Showers and storms will begin to develop this afternoon for western sections of the Big Bend and Southwest Georgia. There is a marginal risk of strong storms in Southwest Georgia late this afternoon. Slight chance for showers and storms for areas along the Ochlockonee River and westward. Chance for a storm or two in Tallahassee past 4:00 p.m. and into the early evening.

Friday begins dry with foggy spots. A couple of showers and storms will pop up during the afternoon ahead of a cold front. Leftover storm activity will mix out by 8:00 p.m. Otherwise sunny breaks, hot an humid with afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s.
The weekend will feel more comfortable with drier air moving into the region. Great beach weather on Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds and daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunday will be a replay of Saturday. However, there is a slight chance for a shower or two in the Suwannee River Valley during the afternoon.

The beach weather continues here in the Big Bend.
Grab the sunglasses before driving to work. We ll see a mix of sun & clouds with temperatures starting out around 60F. Nature heats it up this afternoon with the thermometer climbing into the mid to upper 80s and a light breeze. No issues for the evening with temperatures dipping into the uppers 70s past the dinner hour.
Tornado Watch issued in Big Bend area

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for portions of the Big Bend until 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Local Tornado Watches have been expanded southward and now include Leon, Jefferson, Gadsden, Calhoun, and Liberty Counties. These are in effect until 3:00 pm as more storms begin to develop south of the state line.
