Observed on the third Monday of January every year, MLK Day is also designated as a national day of service, where people are encouraged to volunteer in their communities.   On Monday, ten Suffolk County Police Department MCAT paramedics administer 250 vaccines at The Boys and Girls Club of Bellport as part of the day of service, according to a post on Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone’s Facebook page. The vaccines wee delivered by Northwell Health.     “This initiative is part of a Health Equity Access Pilot Program that provides vaccine distribution sites in communities that may have difficult access reaching our traditional vaccine point-of-distribution locations,” the post said. “We worked with The Boys and Girls Club of Bellport to identify who were eligible, and also went to local churches and places of worship to ident
