WATERTOWN â Robert M. Cole, 26, of 619 New York Ave., was charged by city police Sunday with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
According to police records, at about 9 a.m. Sunday, Mr. Cole grabbed Nichole Burns, slammed her against a wall and threw her into a hamper at her home on Haley Street. He also knowingly broke her iPhone 11, a chair and a hamper, all with a combined value of $770.
Mr. Cole was arrested, taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, and held in county jail pending an arraignment hearing Wednesday, according to city police.
Kevin B. Youmans, 21, of 177 Mechanic St., Apt. 2, was charged by city police Sunday with trespassing.
WATERTOWN â Mikayla L. Rooney, 20, of 6377 Route 3, Natural Bridge, was charged by city police Saturday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
According to police records, Ms. Rooney was stopped on Washington Street for allegedly having no visible stop lights on her vehicle. Police found she was also driving without a valid license.
Ms. Rooney was processed on scene and given an appearance ticket for her charges.
Crystal K. Crosbie, 43, of 32650 Route 3, Great Bend, was charged by city police Saturday with petit larceny.
According to police records, Ms. Crosbie allegedly stole $128.86 worth of merchandise from the Kinney Drugs store on State Street by concealing the items in her purse and leaving the store without paying.
WATERTOWN â Police say a third person was inside the realty business where a man shot and killed two people Wednesday afternoon. He then apparently left in under a minute.
Detective Lt. Joseph R. Donoghue Sr. with the Watertown Police Department revealed the new information when he invited reporters to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on Thursday afternoon for a press conference about the fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday in Watertown.
Shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Barry K. Stewart, 55, of West Carthage, entered Bridgeview Real Estate Services, 145 Clinton St., Suite 111, and allegedly shot the two owners with what appeared to be a handgun. Maxine M. Quigg, 50, of Wellesley Island, and Terence M. OâBrien, 53, of Black River, were dead by the time police arrived on the scene.
WATERTOWN â Gracie A. Hilton, 18, of 23443 Route 37, Apt. 8, was charged by city police Sunday with three counts of petit larceny and three counts of third-degree unlawful possession of personal identification.
According to police records, on Jan. 1, Ms. Hilton was in possession of a credit card number belonging to Tyler Augliano. Later, at about 5:30 p.m. the same day, she spent $25.34 at the Wing Wagon restaurant on Public Square and made two purchases at the Family Dollar at Arsenal Street, one for $167.13 at about 3:45 p.m. and another for $109.90 at 3:53 p.m.
Ms. Hilton was arrested at her home Sunday, taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed and released with an appearance ticket to return to City Court at a later date.
