On Sunday, March 7, 2021, at approximately 2:20 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Route 2 and Pushaw Station Road in Sunderland, for the reported head-on collision with subjects trapped.
Crews arrived on the scene to find two vehicles involved with one vehicle off the roadway with three patients trapped.
Firefighters extricated all patients in under 20 minutes.
Incident command reported they had nine patients, with eight patients requiring transport.
Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 7 responded and transported one patient to an area trauma center, and a 17-year-old female was transported by ground to an area trauma center.
February 7, 2021
On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at approximately 11:35 p.m., police responded to the area of Pegg Road and Liberty Street in Lexington Park, for the report of gunshots.
A short time later, a 911 caller reported a gunshot victim in the 21800 block of Primrose Willow Lane in Lexington Park.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. A helicopter was requested for his injuries.
Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 7 transported the patient to an area trauma center with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police located evidence on Pegg Road between Pacific Drive and Liberty Street, and on Primrose Willow Lane. One vehicle was struck multiple times by gunfire.
February 5, 2021
UPDATE – Charles County Sheriff’s Office Press Release: On February 5, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to a gas station in the 2000 block of St. Thomas Drive in Waldorf for the report of a shooting.
Officers made contact with an adult male who reported he was shot moments earlier while walking behind Benjamin Stoddert Middle School. The victim did not provide any further information nor did he provide a description of the suspect.
The victim was flown to a hospital and treated for injuries that were later determined to be not life threatening.

On Saturday, January 30, 2021, at approximately 7:15 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Jewell Road and Thelma Lane in Dunkirk, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Dispatchers advised all responding units they received a single 911 caller who stated he was operating a U-HAUL truck and thinks he struck a pedestrian, and believed the victim may be deceased.
Crews arrived on the scene a short time later to confirm a single vehicle and pedestrian in the roadway, with firefighters immediately requesting a helicopter for the victim.
Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 landed at the scene and transported the patient to an area trauma center with injuries believed to be life-threatening.
