The Leominster Veterans’ Memorial Center hosted a clinic on Tuesday, March 23 where 300 single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered to veterans.
The clinic was bustling for all six hours, as veterans of all ages enrolled in the Veterans Administration health care system were vaccinated.
The VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System organized the clinic. It is working with local veterans’ service officers to offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to VA-enrolled veterans.

HOLYOKE Veterans of all ages enrolled in the VA health care system can receive a COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic hosted by the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System and VA Connecticut Healthcare System on Tuesday.
The clinic will be held at 310 Appleton St. in the Holyoke War Memorial building from 9 a.m. until noon by appointment. From 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., vaccines will be offered on a walk-in basis while supplies last.
