Paramedics were called to Lightwoods Park in Hagley Road West at about 7.15pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: We were called to reports of a stabbing on Lightwoods Park, Hagley Road West at 7.16pm last night, one ambulance, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a teenage male, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

A teenager was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a park.
Police and medics were called to the scene at around 7.16pm on Thursday, April 22. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: We were called to reports of a stabbing on Lightwoods Park, Hagley Road West, at 7.16pm last night.

A pedestrian has been treated for serious injuries and taken to hospital after a crash in Walsall.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on Darlaston Road at 12.22pm and sent one ambulance and two paramedic officers.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, with the crew from the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford also on board, also attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who had suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car.
