Drug task force arrest Bad Axe man for meth trafficking

A 35-year-old Bad Axe man was arrested April 30 by the Huron County Drug Task Force and was charged with selling methamphetamine.
According to a press release from the Huron County Sheriff s Office, Daniel C. Church was charged with three felonies related to the sale and trafficking of meth.
Sheriff Kelly Hanson said in the release that Church was arrested at a residence on West Huron Avenue in Bad Axe, and his arrest was the result of an extended investigation into the sale of meth. Church was initially lodged in the Huron County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond, but the bond was raised to $75,000 during his arraignment.

A Bad Axe man is facing methamphetamine possession charges after being arrested in his home late last week.
Ethan Daniel Bulla, 18, of Bad Axe was arraigned in 73B District Court on one count of controlled substance possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy, a felony charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or $15,000.
According to a press release from Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson issued over the weekend, the Huron County Drug Task Force, deputies from the sheriff s office and police officers from the Bad Axe Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on 222 N. Heisterman St. in Bad Axe on the evening of April 23.

BAD AXE, MI - About $1,500 of methamphetamine was seized late Friday in Huron County, police said.
Deputies and officers executed a search warrant for narcotics at 6:20 p.m., April 23 on the 200 block of N. Heisterman St. in Bad Axe, said Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson in a release.
The sheriff’s office worked with the county’s Drug Task Force, as well as the Bad Axe Police Department.
The search led to the seizure of more than 12 grams of meth valued at around $1,500, according to the release. Deputies also seized $1,027 in cash.
