Ethan Daniel Bulla, 18, of Bad Axe was arraigned in 73B District Court on one count of controlled substance possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy, a felony charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or $15,000. According to a press release from Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson issued over the weekend, the Huron County Drug Task Force, deputies from the sheriff s office and police officers from the Bad Axe Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on 222 N. Heisterman St. in Bad Axe on the evening of April 23.

Deputies and officers executed a search warrant for narcotics at 6:20 p.m., April 23 on the 200 block of N. Heisterman St. in Bad Axe, said Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson in a release. The sheriff’s office worked with the county’s Drug Task Force, as well as the Bad Axe Police Department. The search led to the seizure of more than 12 grams of meth valued at around $1,500, according to the release. Deputies also seized $1,027 in cash.

(Tribune File Photo) After an extensive search March 4, Huron County Sheriff’s deputies were unable to find evidence of a snowmobiler falling through the ice, despite a call to central dispatch reporting otherwise. According to Sheriff Kelly Hanson, shortly after sunset, dispatch received a call from a Bay Port resident stating he heard and seen a snowmobile out on the ice headed in the direction of Bay Port, before the machine disappeared. The man said he looked away for a second and when he looked back the snowmobile was gone.
