YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department arrested Joseph Valdez, and booked him at the Yuma County Detention Center Thursday for violating his probation orders.
Police deemed Valdez in violation of his original conviction:
Count Three: Disorderly Conduct, a class six felony
Count Two: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Involving Methamphetamine, a class six felony
On Thursday, October 26, 2017, Yuma courts convicted Valdez guilty for:
Felony of Taking Contraband into Correctional Facility
Misdemeanor of Possession or Use of Dangerous Drugs
Felony of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Dangerous Instrument

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - On Wednesday, the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force (YCNTF) served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of W. 9th Street.

The YCNTF is a multi-agency task force comprised of officers and agents from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO), Yuma Police Department, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations.
Authorities discovered four counterfeit fentanyl pills, approximately 2.1 grams of methamphetamine, about 18.5 grams of heroin and multiple items of paraphernalia. The estimated street value for the Heroin is estimated to be $925.00 dollars.
