The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is organizing charity art auctions to raise to help raise funds for the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign.
The largest campaign of its kind in the region was launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It is set to run during the entire month of Ramadan with an aim to raise 100 million dirhams to provide 100 million meals for disadvantaged individuals and families.

The live auction, to be held on Saturday (April 24) at Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah in Dubai, will display a piece of Kaaba cover (Kiswa), embroidered in gold and silver, donated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and rare artworks by world-renowned artists and figures including Pablo Picasso, Nelson Mandela, Salvador Dali and Henri Matisse.
Marwan Abdullah Al Rostamani, chairman of Al Rostamani Group, noted that the contribution to the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign is in line with the Group’s commitment to take part in national humanitarian initiatives, the most recent of which is this campaign that encourages giving during Ramadan.

It also falls within the Group’s CSR activities to support the less fortunate, and translate the humanitarian values of the UAE, said a press release.
“The UAE’s humanitarian initiatives, which keep growing in scope year after year, reflect the country’s relief and humanitarian aid priorities. Smart Dubai facilitates online donations for ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign through DubaiNow App
DUBAI, 21st April, 2021 (WAM) – Individuals and companies can now donate to the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign through the DubaiNow app to provide food aid for disadvantaged communities in 30 countries during the holy month of Ramadan.
As a strategic partner, Smart Dubai provides the digital infrastructure of the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign’s various donation channels and facilitates donations on the DubaiNow app.
