WDIO Created: July 11, 2021 08:04 PM A 26 year old Maple Grove man was killed in a single vehicle rollover in Backus early Saturday morning. Police say the man was driving a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban on Pine Mountain Lake Road just after 2:00am. The car left the roadway and rolled over. Responding officers found the man with severe injuries and performed lifesaving efforts, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man s identity has not yet been released and it is not yet clear what caused the crash. An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
