Jun 28, 2021 Photo: Moment RF Perrysville, OH(June 28, 2021) A report from Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) Ranger, Will Gordon confirmed that a 14-year-old boy from Mansfield, OH received medical intervention after being pulled from the swimming beach at Pleasant Hill Lake Park located in Perrysville, OH on Sunday, June 27 just after 2:00 p.m. A name has not been released until all family members have been notified. The boy was swimming at the beach with family when he was reported missing. After a short search, he was recovered from approximately 33 inches of water. Nearby beach guests first began CPR which was then taken over by MWCD Rangers, and EMS. WhoaZone staff provided an AED which was administered on scene. He was transported to Ohio Health Mansfield. MWCD Rangers were notified by the Richland County Coroner s Office that the boy later died. MWCD Rangers continue to gather information relating to the incident.
