MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man accused of killing his grandfather and injuring his grandmother in Randolph County was arrested in Cornelius after an hours-long search.
Brian Cody King was taken into custody just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
King was wanted in the death of 74-year-old Harold Stephen King, who was identified by the Randolph County Sheriffâs Office as Kingâs grandfather.

Pratt is charged with first degree murder, stemming from a triple shooting on Plummer Street late Saturday night.The shooting left Robert Lewis Spencer, 27, dead and a second person injured by gunfire.Pratt was also injured and taken into law enforcement custody after being released from the hospital.He is scheduled to make a first appearance in Randolph County District Court today.

ASHEBORO, N.C. Asheboro police are investigating after a man kidnapped a woman Saturday afternoon, stole her car and then led police on a chase, according to investigators.
According to the Asheboro Police Department, Manuel Jesus Robles, 32, kidnapped a 31-year-old woman at gunpoint while sitting in a car on Coleridge Road.
Police said Robles of Ocala, Florida, forced the woman into a car owned by her and left the scene in the stolen car.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A man accused of kidnapping a woman led officers on a multi-county pursuit that ended with him crashing along I-85 in Rowan County, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said he fired shots at officers along the way.
The pursuit started in Randolph County and ended near the Webb Road exit after the driver attempted to avoid spike strips on the interstate and veered off the highway.
