Randolph County Sheriff s Office share tips against converter theft

The Courier-Tribune As the number of catalytic converter theft increased, the Randolph County Sheriff s Office has shared ways to avoid becoming victim to the crime. The department has a big call volume from patrol answering those calls and investigating those claims.  According to Captain Chris Maness, the thieves are targeting companies with church buses, church vans, daycare vans, and school buses that normally park out of the way of public view, such as behind a building.
