Ascension Seton Williamson hospital in Round Rock was briefly placed on lockdown early Wednesday as police searched for man suspected of an assault in Pflugerville, authorities said. Police said a woman, who was the victim of the assault, had been brought to the hospital. Then around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, Round Rock police said they were looking for the suspect in the area of Ascension Seton Williamson and that the hospital was on lockdown. Officers said they had no reports of gunshots at the hospital but they urged the public to stay away from the hospital during the search. By 6:45 a.m., Round Rock police said they finished a search of the hospital and the suspect, whose identity was not released, had not been found. Hospital staff then lifted the lockdown.
