Michelle Griffin, 42, was last seen on May 19 on East 178th Street in Galliano walking toward East Main Street, according to Sheriff Craig Webre. Webre said Griffin suffers from mental illnesses and impaired vision. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds and having brown hair. She was last seen wearing denim shorts and no shoes, according to Webre. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-532-2808, or simply dial 911.
Investigation continues in fatal Raceland stabbing
Authorities are still gathering evidence in a stabbing over the weekend that left a Raceland man dead.
The stabbing claimed the life of 66-year-old Kim Kor Ker, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said. A family member found Ker’s body 12:45 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Morristown Road in Raceland.
“We’re still looking at leads and electronic digital evidence that will give us some more information and a motive,” Sheriff Craig Webre said Monday. “We haven’t run out of all our leads, but as of now we don’t have a suspect.”
