Ogdensburg man arrested on warrant for alleged December assault

Friday, June 11, 2021 - 1:17 pm CANTON 38-year-old Jebadiah J. Brenno of Ogdensburg was arrested by State Police in Canton on June 10 following the issuance of a warrant for an assault that took place on Dec. 24, 2020. Brenno was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Brenno was arraigned virtually and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail due to the felony charges and previous felony convictions. Jury finds Massena man guilty of recording teenager

Tuesday, May 18, 2021 - 1:21 pm MASSENA A Massena man was found guilty Monday of secretly recording a teenager in her bedroom in October of 2019, according to St. Lawrence County District Attorney Gary M. Pasqua. John Lamb, 47, was found guilty of second-degree unlawful surveillance by a St. Lawrence County jury with Hon. Gregory P. Storie presiding over the trial. The defendant was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail following the verdict. Evidence at the trial established that on October 24, 2019, Lamb positioned a Sony camcorder outside the home of a 13-year old girl in order to secretly record her in her bedroom.

Zamyslowski, 35, Ogdensburg, was charged May 11 for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop. He was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, city police said. Jarrod A. Oshier, 23, Norfolk, was charged May 11 on two City Court arrest warrants for second degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Two jailed on charge of possessing of 8 oz of crack in Oswegatchie

Tuesday, May 4, 2021 - 6:09 pm OSWEGATCHIE – Two people are jailed without bail after city police say they found several ounces of narcotics while searching their vehicle. On Friday, April 30, city police say their Narcotics Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 812 in the Town of Oswegatchie. Troche A police K9 sniffed the exterior of the vehicle, and as a result of that, detectives say they found eight ounces of crack cocaine and over $12,000 in U.S. currency. That led to Thomas Troche, 34, of Brooklyn, and Harry Martinez, 44, Bronx being charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Three charged in Ogdensburg after warrants turn up gun, mushrooms, large cannabis quantities: police

Friday, April 30, 2021 - 1:15 pm OGDENSBURG – Three teenagers have been charged after city police say they found a gun, psilocybin mushrooms and illegal quantities of cannabis while executing a search warrant. The arrests started with a report of an armed robbery on Tuesday, April 27, police said. The residents of 809 Mechanic St. reported that two men entered the home, brandished a revolver, stole property from the residence and fled in an identified vehicle, police said. City police say state troopers later found the vehicle. Searching the vehicle with a warrant, city police say they found a .357 revolver and about five pounds of cannabis.
