New federal guidelines on face masks mark a pandemic turning point, but how they apply in California and Los Angeles remain to be seen.

Mask Milestone, Mask Confusion
In a sign of America’s progress against COVID-19, federal officials have announced a sweeping relaxation of
face mask guidelines, which now suggest fully vaccinated people can stop wearing masks in most places either outdoors or inside.
Though the move is a milestone moment in the pandemic, it comes with some caveats. First, the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is only a recommendation, with the final call largely being decided by state and local governments. California has strict mask rules consistent with the CDC’s previous mask guidance, and officials said they will remain in effect at least for now as they study the new recommendations.
And that’s not making the big pharma oligarchs and big government tyrants very happy.
The U.S. is now awash in COVID vaccines, as most Americans who want one have already gotten their shots. But like Obamacare never actually covered everyone like the former president and his media sycophants promised the law would, not everyone is crazy about getting a still-experimental vaccine that has left nearly 4,000 people dead (more on that later).
So Big Biotech firms are implementing tactics to address so-called “vaccine hesitancy” and are ramping up propaganda efforts to “create demand” using a range of tools including surveillance, media, rapid analysis of data, and of course behavior control, as they have revealed.
Kevin McCarthy tells House GOP to anticipate Cheney vote on Wednesday
May 10, 2021
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told GOP colleagues Monday that after having conversations with so many of you in recent days, it s clear there needs to be a change in GOP leadership, and as such, you should anticipate a vote on recalling the Conference chair this Wednesday. The position is now held by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), but over the last few weeks, there has been a movement to vote her out and replace her with Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.). Stefanik s voting record is more moderate than Cheney s, but she is a supporter of former President Donald Trump, while Cheney is not. It s Cheney s criticism of Trump, his false claims of election fraud, and his incitement of a mob ahead of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that has led many Republicans to want her out of leadership.
