AVON, N.Y. (WHEC) An Avon man is facing several felony charges after deputies say he broke into a home and assaulted one of the people inside during an attempted burglary/robbery.
The Livingston County Sheriff s Office says on the morning of July 18, 22-year-old Justis Watts got into a home in the Town of Avon by cutting a screen and climbing through a window while the people inside were sleeping. When they woke up and confronted Watts, deputies said he threatened them with a gun, a knife and eventually gained access to a wooden rod, which he used to assault one of the homeowners.
