Shooter, victim dead following gunfire at Wawa, 2 other Lehigh Co. sites, authorities say

Authorities have not identified the gunman or any of the victims.
“We don’t have any motive at this point. It appears that the three shootings . were indiscriminate and unrelated,” Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said.
The shooting spree began early Wednesday morning when the gunman, driving a white Toyota Corolla, shot at a woman driving a white car on Route 22 near Route 309.
The woman, who is being interviewed by police, said she heard a loud bang, but did not realize she heard a gunshot until she stopped at the Wawa to get a sandwich and saw a bullet hole in the car, Martin said.

The gunman who shot two people, killing one of them, before turning the gun on himself was a 45-year-old man from South Whitehall Township, the Lehigh County coroner’s office said.
Za Uk Lian’s manner of death was suicide. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, the coroner said.
Ramon Ramirez, 31, was shot by Lian while pumping gas early Wednesday morning at the Wawa at Route 100 and Schantz Road in Upper Macungie Township, authorities said.
Ramirez was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead at 5:30 a.m. from a gunshot wound. His death was ruled a homicide, Coroner Eric Minnich said.

WEISSPORT EAST, Pa. A man from Carbon County died after his motorcycle crashed on Saturday.
John Bogoski 47, of Lehighton, crashed on Fairyland Road in Franklin Township, near Weissport around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, according to the coroner.
Bogoski was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died Saturday night.

Ten people were sent to an area hospital following a chain-reaction accident along Hamilton Boulevard near Newtown Road in Upper Macungie, township police said.
The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. Saturday when township police said a 27-year-old Derby, Connecticut, man driving a tractor trailer couldn’t slow down in time as he approached a line of vehicles stopped in traffic. The rig struck a pickup truck being driven by a 71-year-old Allentown man, police said.
The pickup truck was then pushed into a van being driven by a 35-year-old Lancaster woman, and the van was pushed into a car driven by a 21-year-old North Wales, Montgomery County, woman, according to police.
