CAL FIRE officials urging community to prepare ahead of fire season
With the upcoming fire season, CAL FIRE officials are urging everyone to do their part to stay vigilant and stay safe and update things like defensible space.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – CAL FIRE said there have already been 1800 wildfires this year across the state which is worse compared to this time last year.
With the upcoming fire season, they want to remind everyone to do their part to stay vigilant and stay safe and update things like defensible space.
Wednesday different agencies came together for Wildfire Preparedness Week at Loafer Creek Recreation Area in Oroville to let people know they re ready to help but want community members to do their part.
