INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Many Hoosiers say they are looking forward to the nearly-trillion-dollar relief package that lawmakers agreed on Sunday evening.
It includes more than $284 billion in Paycheck Protection Program.
A2Z Cafe is one of many small businesses that received a loan earlier this year. Owner Gina Rosenow said she’s hoping rules to the loan have improved.
“We know we’re going to have to pay a percentage of it back, which is fine, but it’s really not been enough to carry us. Some people I know didn’t even get a PPP, even though they followed all of the procedures and the forms correctly,” said Rosenow.

Purdue staves off comeback, earns Crossroads win

Dec 20, 2020 / 11:55 AM EST INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) The Indiana State Department of Health has issued new COVID-19 information for our state.
On Sunday, ISDH said 6,558 more Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19. The new cases were recorded between Nov. 19 and Dec. 19.
A total of 464,354 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19.
ISDH says 53 more Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. The deaths occurred between Nov. 6 and Dec. 19.
A total of 7,070 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. Another 334 “probable” deaths have occurred, but a positive test is not on record.
The 7-day positive rate for unique individuals stands at 24.3%. The 7-day positivity rate for all individuals is 12.2%.

INDIANAPOLIS – Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 21 points and Armaan Franklin had a career-high 20 on 5-for-7 shooting from 3-point range to lead the Hoosiers to a 68-60 win over Butler in the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
